Austin Wayne Self to carry Scott Rookie In Car Camera for Remainder of the 2014 Season on Fox Sports 1 Starting at Pocono

Austin Wayne Self has been slotted to carry the Scott Rookie in car camera, for the remainder of the ARCA Racing Series broadcast races on Fox Sports 1.  As Austin Wayne Self approaches Pocono, he is excited to give the fans at home an in car perspective at his race effort.

Austin Wayne Self stated, “I am really excited about this opportunity. The exposure for our 22 AM Cunningham Motorsports Dodge team is great and it will really highlight how hard our entire team at Cunningham works to put a fast car on the track every single weekend. The Scott Rookie in Car Camera is also a great way to bring attention to the rookie drivers in the ARCA series, and discuss the great racing that we bring to the field our attention is now focused towards having a good run at Pocono.”

Pocono, known as the ‘Tricky Triangle’, is a superspeedway located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania at Long Pond. The asphalt 2.5 mile speedway is a gem in the racing circuit and unique oddity that has produced some of the best final finishes in racing.

Austin commented, “I am really looking forward to Pocono. We are also hosting some of our AM Technical Solutions team at the track and I really want to have a good showing for them. Cunningham has proven they are very successful at Pocono and I want to put the car in a position to win. I am really going to aim for strong qualifying, and good stops. We are going to have to adapt to a new track and that could prove to be a challenge but I am up for it!”

Chad Bryant, crew chief on the 22 Am Dodge commented, “The test was really good at Pocono on Wednesday.  We have really high expectations for the race.  Our main objective for the race is to complete every lap and contend for the win.  That is all we can ask for right now because we have had a lot of bad luck the last couple of weeks.  This team is getting stronger every week and our performance Wednesday showed that.”

The next race to be broadcast on television will be from Pocono with the following air dates all Eastern Time on FS1 & FS2: 1) Sat 06/07/2014 01:00 PM FS1, 2) Sat 06/07/2014 07:00 PM FS2 3) Mon 06/09/2014 10:00 AM FS1 4) Fri 06/13/2014 05:00 PM FS1
