On July 28th Austin Wayne Self will be running the Barbera’s Autoland 150 presented by Driven Racing Oil at New Jersey Motorsports Park. After a strong second place finish at Winchester and winning the SCOTT Rookie challenge Austin and the Cunningham team will carry that momentum towards ‘Thunderbolt Raceway.’ Austin looks forward to bringing #22 AMTS Cunningham Racing Dodge to the front of the pack in his first ARCA road course race.
Thunderbolt Raceway at NJMP is 2.25 miles of asphalt, 14 challenging turns, a one half mile straightway and non-stop excitement. Despite this being his first run at NJMP Austin is boldly approaching this challenge, “I’m excited to see how we run at a road course, I have raced on road courses before in karting and I am very confident in my road course racing abilities.”
