After a strong finish Saturday, Austin Wayne Self looks forward to testing in Indianapolis.
[dcs_img_left]https://www.awsracing.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/2ndPlaceFinishHMP.png[/dcs_img_left]In the 60 lap feature at Houston Motorsports Park, Austin Wayne Self succeeded in maintaining a top three position throughout the entire race. Running the #15, Sports Clips, Umscheid Racing Modified- Austin won his heat and started the race on the pole. Austin commented, “My car was running great and we almost had first, but he kept running me high, we had a great race and learned a lot, we lost some position after the cautions but got back up there and finished strong.” During the 60 lap feature only 12 of 20 cars remained on the lead lap and Austin Wayne Self proved once again his tenacity to race and endurance on the track results in consistent race finishes. This week Austin will begin testing in Indianapolis and looks forward to his upcoming ARCA race.
