This past weekend Austin Wayne Self attended the 1st annual Austin AutoRama in Austin, Texas. “It was a really cool experience to be a part of a show like that and to be surrounded by so many award-winning hot rods,” Austin said, “I had a blast meeting all of the local fans and checking out the custom cars during the show. It was an awesome event and I’m already looking forward to next year’s AutoRama.”
The Austin AutoRama featured all types of cars and trucks including customs, classics, bikes, drag cars, racecars, and hot rods. Austin signed autographs for fans along with other special guests such as country singer, Junior Brown and Courtney Hansen, host of Spike TV’s “PowerBlock” and NBC Sports TV series “PowerNation”. Of course, Austin couldn’t show up to a CAR SHOW empty handed so he brought his 07 Central Texas Speedway Late Model for everyone to check out and handed out t-shirts as a thank you for their support of auto racing.
Austin commented, “Thousands of people came out to the AutoRama to check out the cars. It was great to meet so many people who love these machines as much as I do. I saw some amazing vintage rides and it was such a cool experience.”
