Texas Motor Speedway Race Notes:

Austin Wayne Self (AWS) and his No.22 AM Technical Solutions Toyota Tundra finished 22nd in Friday’s Striping Technology 350 at Texas Motor Speedway. Friday’s Texas homecoming was AWS’s 20th event of the season and marked his return to the driver’s seat after forgoing last week’s race in Martinsville where Justin Fontaine made his NCWTS debut piloting AM Racing’s No.22 machine.

With only two races remaining in the 2016 NCWTS season AWS shifts his attention to the final stretch.  The series moves further west for Friday night’s race at Phoenix before concluding at Homestead Miami Speedway on November 18.

Texas Motor Speedway Post Race Quote:

“It wasn’t the homecoming finish we wanted but overall another good day for our AM Technical Solutions team.  I would have loved to be up front but we just couldn’t get the truck where it needed to be until late in the race.  We fought a loose truck early on but once we got things right the truck was solid during those long green flag runs.  I’m really thankful for everyone sticking in there today.  We’re leaving with a clean truck and headed to Phoenix.” -Austin Wayne Selftms00

Last Race: Striping Technology 350 at Texas Motor Speedway

Next Race:

Next up on the NCWTS schedule is race No. 22 of 23 – The Lucas Oil 150 from Phoenix International Raceway on Friday, November 11 at 10:00 P.M. All times EST.
