(Mooresville, NC, July 27, 2015–) Austin Wayne Self, driver of AM Technical Solutions No. 98 for Mason Mitchell Motorsports used a late race surge Friday evening to earn his ninth top-10 of the 2015 ARCA Racing Series season.
The 2014 Scott Rookie of The year was able to pass Chase Briscoe on the final lap to secure the ninth position at the checkered flag.

“I am looking forward to heading back to Pocono on Saturday. We had a great race going in June until a late race incident out us in 15th.”
Early Friday in Menards pole qualifying presented by Ansell, Self qualified the No. 98 in the 17th position for the 13th race of the 2015 season.
When the green flag waved Self quickly began moving his way through the field. In only four laps Self moved up four positions into 12th.
AWS continued to race in 12th until lap 60 when leader William Byron put the second year driver one lap down. The evening’s first caution would come out one lap later. Unfortunately the leader put another car one lap down before the caution came out, trapping Self one lap down.
Shortly after halfway Self slotted himself in the free pass position when the caution waved for the 42 of Bo LeMastus. Self would receive the free pass and would be back on
The races final 76 laps would go caution free. Self would pass two cars during the evenings longest run to secure his ninth top-10 of the 2015 season by finishing in the ninth position.
