Austin Wayne Self Quote: “We had a fast No. 22 GO TEXAN | AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet Silverado, but unfortunately we had a bad pit stop there in Stage 3 and got a lap down.

“Fortunately, we were able to get the lap back and were making good progress coming back through the field and then the brakes failed and eventually caught on fire and ended our night.

“As strong as our start to the season was, we’ve been stalled with back-to-back tough races but we will bounce back from this and hope the Bristol Dirt will bring us a top-10 like it did in 2021.”

Next Up: Pinty’s Dirt Truck Race at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 16, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. ET live on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) | Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM Satellite Radio NASCAR Channel 90.
