Austin Wayne Self Quote: “I’m really happy to get our first top-10 finish of the season for GO TEXAN, AM Technical Solutions, Superior Essex and all of our partners at Niece Motorsports.
“We struggled Friday night trying to get the truck where we wanted it, but we continued to work hard and it paid off at the end of the night after all the late race cautions.
“We certainly wanted a top-10 finish before the end of the season, but now we can go back to the shop and focus forward and see what we can accomplish for the remaining races. I’m looking forward to Talladega Superspeedway next month.”
Next Up: Talladega 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway on Sat., Oct. 13.
