The 22 AM Technical Solutions Cunningham Motorsports Dodge will be adding a partner to their Salem, Indiana effort- just in time for Austin to race in front of his second hometown!

Austin Wayne Self is returning to Indiana, a state where his family roots run deep! Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana is a second home to Austin Wayne Self and he looks forward to racing in front of his friends and family. “The race will be like a family reunion, we have so many people coming I really want to have a solid race.”-AWS. The 22 AM Technical Solutions Dodge is coming off a P12 finish at Mobile and the team feels that raising expectations will only improve performance. “I am ready to get out and race, we want to race for points and win. I want to move up on the charts and show everyone how hard we have been working.”-AWS

For over 65 years Salem Speedway has enjoyed the recognition of being one of the most unique and renowned race tracks in America. The .5-mile oval that features imposing 33-degree banks was built strictly for speed. “This is the most unique short track I’ve ever been on, it’s really fast and really rough, I qualified second here last year, so it’s a good track for me.” -AWS
With family in the stands, and a house full of support Austin Wayne Self is putting an immense focus towards this race. “Salem is a track that tests your driving we are making sure that everyone on the team is giving 100 percent towards the end goal.” –AWS
In recent years drivers such as Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Busch, Kasey Kahne, and Joey Logano have tested their skills on the Salem oval. Now it is Austin Wayne Self’s turn to wheel his 22 AMTS Cunningham Dodge around Salem Speedway on April 27th .
